I joined Ropes & Gray back in 2017, and five years later, due to some good luck (landing a secretarial role for our international pro bono lead), hard work (working a dual role as secretary and charities coordinator) and with the strong support and encouragement from my colleagues and leadership team, I am now CSR Specialist (London) – a role which sees me finish each day with a smile on my face.

As CSR specialist, my focus is on employee and community engagement and sustainability, whilst also working collaboratively with HR and others on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Wellness initiatives. On the community side, my role enables me to engage with a variety of incredible charities who we support in a number of ways. On the employee side, I am fortunate to work with both lawyers and business support teams on a variety of pro bono and non-legal initiatives and events. On the sustainability side, I work with a wonderful group of people to find ways to make Ropes & Gray London a more planet-friendly space. I am very fortunate to work with such a diverse group of people on a day-to-day basis; every opinion is respected and there is a real sense of being more than just a number. Ropes & Gray’s London office really does feel like a second home.
