I joined the London office in December 2010 as a stand-alone finance assistant.  This was a challenging  role covering accounts payable, client cashiering, billing and much more for the London office. Over the years I’ve been fortunate to progress in my career with promotions to senior billing and revenue coordinator and team supervisor, which led to my present role as accounting manager, overseeing a team of six. I have a diverse remit, interacting with so many departments it makes every day different! My biggest achievement to date is working on the implementation project for a new financial software, which was three years in the making. It was a firmwide project involving collaboration with Asia, U.S. and UK teams across different finance functions. To be part of an international project with so many moving parts and teams was certainly a great opportunity that I may never experience in my career again. The project went live in autumn 2021.  I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at Ropes & Gray. It has a unique culture and having worked for many law firms in my career, it was a welcomed change to be part of a firm that is inclusive, professional and openly encourages you to strive for your career goals, whatever they may be.
